Peacefully at Princess Gardens, Peterborough, on Oct 27th, 2017 in her 97th year, after a brief illness. Beloved wife of the late Ivan Herbert Ashbury. Loving mother of Edwin (Ted) Ashbury (wife, Janet) and Mary Patricia (Trish) Ashbury. Dear grandmother of Andrew, Alison, and Jennifer (Neal Bhan). Mary was a talented artist who enjoyed spending time with family and friends, especially at the cottage on Kahshe Lake in Muskoka. A brief memorial service will be held at Princess Gardens Chapel, 100 Charlotte St., Peterborough on Thursday, Nov 30th at 2:00 pm. Parking in the municipal parking lot of the Peterborough Square Mall adjacent to Princess Gardens. The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to all the caregivers and staff at Princess Gardens who treated Mary with such kindness and compassion.
