I have had the pleasure of working with Mat since he started at PRHC.  There was something about him and I working together that usually meant something was going to go wrong. We often joked about that when we saw that we were working together. Despite these crazy experiences we usually had together I always enjoyed working with him and he was one of the best to work with when things went wrong.  He is one of the best! I can’t tell you how many times a patient asked “is Mat my nurse today?” Or “when will Mat be back?”  The patients loved him and always asked about him.  He often talked about his daughter Everly and there is no doubt he loved her more than anything in the world. I can not express how much I will miss working with Mat. He was a wonderful dad, an amazing nurse and one of the best coworkers you could ever ask for.  Rest In Peace Matias you will be missed dearly! 

I remember many years ago meeting Matias and Maryanna in our dental office.  I instantly had a bond with them. Such  beautiful  people.  My heart is broken to hear of this tragedy.  My prayers are with you. Maryanna I'm always here for you my dear friend.  God bless .

I had the pleasure serving him at Tim’s in phrc . He will be greatly missed by all Tim’s staff and cafeteria staff 😢. My thoughts and prayers go out all his family and friends 

I had the pleasure of working alongside Matias at PRHC, first as a student and then a coworker. He was always willing to help, even in messy situations, while making everyone around him smile. I always saw Matias running around making sure everyone had what they needed or offering to lend a hand.  When we were working together, I knew it would be a good shift.  I loved listening to him talk of his daughter Everly, she meant the world to him and lived her so dearly.  It's really painful to grasp the concept that you won't be there when I return from maternity leave. It won't be the same without you. You are missed far more than you could have known. 

I had the extreme privilege of working alongside Matias the past couple of years.  He was truly a compassionate, thoughtful, and responsible nurse who was always striving to learn more and provide a higher level of care.  It was a joy to be around Matias, he always made me laugh and was eager to help wherever he could.  He loved his daughter unconditionally and he took great pride in everything he did.  I hope you are at peace Matias, I will miss you greatly.

I remember you fondly as one of my most endearing students. Smart, kind and so very intelligent. Always smiling and ready to lend a hand wherever it was needed.  Funny too, with a great sense of humour, certainly one of a kind. 

You will be missed by many and I pray for peace for you and all of your loved ones, family and colleagues.

I went to elementary and high school with Matias. I was very saddened to learn of his death.

In school he was always a very active and positive individual, definitely a pleasure to be around. We would mildly joke around when we were in class groups. He led a very wonderful life after highschool from what I followed on social media. My dearest condolensces to his closest friends and family.

Querido primo (Matute) como te decíamos de niño no tengo palabras para decirte el dolor inmenso que ocasionó tu partida. Tengo los mejores recuerdos de nuestra infancia,siempre fuiste un niño muy bueno!! De grandes nuestra relación no fue tan cercana pero siempre quedarán esos lindos recuerdos de cuando jugábamos en la granja en la casita,cuando subiamos a los árboles a explorar. Mi primito no puedo creer que ya no estés más en este mundo. Sólo te pido que cuides de tu mami ella es una gran madre siempre hiso todo por vos y ella te Ama muchísimo. Que ilumines a Everly tu hijita bella. Dios se ganó otro ángel cuidanos que nosotros por siempre te recordaremos ❤

I first met Matias when he was a 2nd year nursing student, he was not only dedicated, he was one of the kindest people I had the pleasure of teaching. My heart is broken for all who loved and knew him, I will miss his wonderful smile. My thoughts and prayers are with his family, may his memory be a blessing. God bless you all.

Matias a loving and kind dad and son, I had the pleasure to meet you and get to know you and even train together. 
We are very sad to learn you are no longer with us, I promise I will take care of your mom Mariana who is not only my friend but my sister. 
We will miss you so much. Heaven got a new angel.

From an eager young student always ready to learn in the classroom, to a nurturing caregiver for my father in PRHC, to an encouraging, dedicated athlete in CFK. A true inspiration, Matias. Your gentle demeanour, kindness and smile will be forever missed.

What a sweet person and kind young man Matias was. He often worked out beside me. Quiet, respectful, worked hard at every workout. I am stunned and deeply saddened to hear of his passing and will miss him at class. My thoughts and prayers to his family.
