Mr. Michael Ambrose “Amy” SheehanLeft this world and went home to God on Friday December 25, 2009, aged 78 years. He will be missed by his wife Barbara (O’Neill). He was predeceased by his wife of 39 years, Marie (Hynes). Beloved and loving father to Len, Ruth Anne, Pete, Robert and Micheal. He was the honoured father-in-law to Helen (Pete), Peter Buott (Ruth Anne) and Melissa Dunford (Len). He was employed by G.E. Canada for 44 years and has enjoyed every moment of his 18 years of retirement. He leaves his much loved sister Joanne Sweeting and brother Paul (Annie). Predeceased by older brother George (Betty) and his parents Anastasia Sullivan and Michael Sheehan. It broke his heart to say goodbye to his grandchildren Chris and Sarah Buott, Patrick and Pammy Zator and his great grandson Jessie Benedetto. He will also be sadly missed by members of the Hynes and Cummings families and many nieces and nephews. Through his involvement with hockey and golf, Michael shared his joy of sports with many people and created treasured friendships over the years. Friends will be received at the COMSTOCK FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION CENTRE 356 Rubidge Street from 2-4 and 7-9 pm Tuesday December 29th. The funeral mass will be held at the CATHEDRAL OF ST. PETER IN CHAINS on Wednesday December 30, 2009 at 10:30 am., followed by cremation. A reception will be held following the funeral mass.
