Tokiwa, Michiko also known as Mich (nee Maruya) – Passed away on Saturday March 28, 2026 at the age of 93. Beloved wife of the late Paul Tokiwa. She will be missed and always remembered by her four children; Marlene (Michael), Doug (Mellody), Kent (Susan), Candace (George), her grandchildren Blair, Daimen, Micah and Jett. And her sister, Chizuko Uyede and her younger brother, Keiji Maruya. Predeceased by her older brother Satoshi Maruya. She will also be missed by many family members and friends and her beloved dog Qrii.
Our gratitude to the wonderful staff at Canterbury Gardens, especially the lovely nursing staff on the enriched care floor for their care and support.
As per her wishes there will be no visitation, funeral or service.
