Milburn Vincent Jones

– Born August 31, 1920 passed away peacefully on Monday, November 23, 2015 at Royal Gardens with the caring staff and his Ella nearby, at the age of 95. Milburn is survived by his wife Ella of 50 years (née Schell). Predeceased by his parents Leita and Vincent Jones, and his sister Mildred Tully and brother- in-law Harry Tully. Father of Margaret (Geoffrey Norris) and Evelyn (Stephen Law). Missed by his grandchildren Ariella Norris-Jones, Mady and Jade Law Jones. Remembered by his nephew Kenneth Tully and his family, his niece Janice Armstrong and her family, as well as countless friends.

Over his busy productive life, Milburn worked as a Public School Teacher for 10 years, spent 10 years at Queen’s Park and 25 years with IBM. He enjoyed being an organist for churches in Peterborough and area, as well as organizing trips for he and Ella.

The family will receive friends at COMSTOCK FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 356 Rubidge Street, on Friday, November 27, 2015 from 2-4 & 7-9. Funeral Services will be held at CHRIST CHURCH ANGLICAN, Omemee, on Saturday, November 28th at 1 p.m. with visitation from 12- 1 p.m. Interment to follow at Emily Cemetery.
