Mildred Jean Boyle

BOYLE: Mildred “Millie” (World War II Veteran, former employee of Canadian General Electric). Peacefully at Springdale Country Manor on Saturday, January 15th, 2011 in her 87th year. Millie, beloved wife of Frank (Bunt) for 62 years. Adored mother of Karl (Wendy) of Picton, and Karen Potts (Dave) of Peterborough. Predeceased by her parents William and Sarah (Monaghan) Hartwick, brothers William, John, Joseph, and Clifton, sisters Marjorie Birchenau, Kathleen McTeague, Glenna Crough, and Iona Hartwick. Survived by her brother Vernon Hartwick (Agnes), and sisters Bernadette Kelly (Len), and Marlene Daigle (Vince). Sadly missed by Renee Potts and family, and her many nieces, nephews and friends. The family’s heartfelt thanks for their compassion and professional care to Dr. Listen and Staff at Springdale. Thanks also to Sarah Carson and Jean Condon for your patience and excellent support. With you, Mom had the very best care in her last year. The family could not have done without you. Millie’s wish is to be cremated. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
