THOMPSON, Muriel ‘Peggy’(nee Lacey) – Passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family on January 8, 2015 at Extendicare Peterborough at age 95. Beloved wife of the late Arthur Thompson. Cherished mother and best friend of Jane Gallant and her husband Derrill. Loving sister of Dolly Irwin and Audrey Lewis. Sister-in-law of Dorothy Lacey. Predeceased by her parents, Albert and Lillian Lacey and her brothers Bert, Aleck, Bob and Ben and a sister Marjorie Bradley. Will be sadly missed by several generations of nieces, nephews and her dear friends. Peggy was lovingly cared for the last ten months by the staff of Rose Terrace at Extendicare Peterborough.Visitation will be held on Monday, January 12, 2015 from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. at the COMSTOCK FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 356 Rubidge Street. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 13, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at ALL SAINTS ANGLICAN CHURCH, 235 Rubidge Street, Peterborough. Interment to follow at Little Lake Cemetery.
