

COOKE: Murray Arthur
At the Peterborough Regional Health Centre on Friday, July 30th, 2010, with his wife Carol who will love and cherish his memory forever and his special friends Aziza Mohammadzada and Judy Johnston by his side. Murray, a retired Ontario Funeral Director, will always be remembered and missed by his step-daughter Christine and grandson Zackery, Carol's brother Jim and his wife Olla Stephens, and his special long time friends Glen and Ann Hogle, Ray and Susan Halket, Bernie Bertrand (Holiday Inn), John Saynor and Paul Rapsey. Murray will be fondly remembered by his nephew Terry and wife Sarah, his nieces Elizabeth and Lisa, and cousin Ron Smith. Predeceased by his brother Norman, nephew David, and Murray's late wife Shirley. Visitation will be held at COMMUNITY ALTERNATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 83 Hunter Street West (at the bridge), Peterborough, on Wednesday, August 4th from 7 - 9 p.m. Memorial Service to be held in the chapel on Thursday at 2 p.m. with visitation 1 hour prior. A special THANKS to all of the Nurses, Staff, and Doctors in Palliative Care for their extraordinary kindness and empathy during Murray's illness… You all do a great job. Murray was a great husband, a great guy, a good friend and very much a gentleman. His presence on earth will be greatly missed by everyone that knew him.
