OAKLEY, Myrtle Jean (née Trotter)
Passed away peacefully on Friday, March 13, 2026, at the age of 98. Beloved wife of the late Bruce Oakley. Loving mother of Diane Lynn Woodbeck (Randy), Vicki Terry (late Gary), Wendy Crowley (Jim), Bethel Carveth (Rick), Lori Leeper (Doug), Ralph Oakley (Giselle) and the late Dennis Bruce Oakley. Proud grandmother to many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. One of nine children, Myrtle is sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Myrtle remembered for her love of family. She loved family gatherings, shopping for others and giving gifts. Her fashion sense was impeccable, and she never left the house without a coordinated outfit.
Family and friends are invited to the Comstock-Kaye Life Celebration Centre, 356 Rubidge Street, on March 21, 2026, for a tributes and a gathering from 1-4 pm.
