Parmel Marie Monaghan Newton

Passed away peacefully at the Campbellford Memorial Hospital on September 25th, 2022. Parmel “Marie” Newton (nee Monahan) of Havelock in her 89th year. Loving wife of the late Ronald Newton (1987). Predeceased by her parents Lena (nee Dulmage) & George Monahan, Brothers Wesley (Thelma), Vern (Margaret), Melville, and sister Jenifer Stillman (Earl). Marie will be sadly missed by her children Roger (Shelley) of Peterborough, Janice Hebor (Alan) of Havelock, and Rhonda Granger (Bill) of Marmora. Marie was the proud grandmother of Mellissa McMillan, Patrick Newton (Alleben), Sarah Keen (Nathan), Amber Orde (Andrew), Zachary Newton (Lauren), Christina Hebor (Sean), Ryan Hebor (Natalie), Christopher Curtis (Brittany), Colleen Curtis (Ryan) whom she believed could do no wrong in her eyes. Great grandmother of Julianna, Gabrielle, Darcy, Jack, Corbin, Quinn, Kadien, Elliott, Freya, Kiefer & Jackson whom she believed were all angels. She will also be greatly missed and remembered by many nieces, and nephews as well as great nieces and great nephews. Marie would like to be remembered as a good person who loved and cared for her family deeply, she was certainly that and so much more to everyone who loved her. The family will be mourning the loss of Marie privately. Special thanks to the Doctors, Nurses, and staff of Campbellford Hospital.
