Passed peacefully at Hospice, with her family and friends by her side, on Thursday, October 29, 2026 at the age of 67 after several graceful and courageous years living with rheumatoid arthritis and recently with a diagnosis of terminal cancer.
Patricia was the loving wife of Glenn Hensel [predeceased], the love of her life and they spent many happy years together.
Patricia had 4 children. Sara, [Phil], Bobbie, [Carrie] Amie [Keith] and Sarah.
She was the loving daughter to two sets of parents. Glen and Patricia Osborne and Carl and Ruth Osborne who raised her to be the kind and generous lady she would become.
She was raised with her sister Sharon [Wilf] and brother Rick [Natalie]
She was the loving sister of Darlene, [Costa], Diane [Bill], Keith, [Stephanie] and Kelly, [Sue].
Patricia had 11 grandchildren, Taylor [Mitchell], Tasia, Joshua, Kyle, Jazmin, Cynthia, Philip, Kathryn, James, Glenn, and Monty.
Patricia was a fighter and did everything she could to hide her pain as well as caring for others. She loved her family and her many friends both at the trailer and in the apartment building she resided.
The Family would like to take this opportunity to thank the caregivers at PRHC palliative care unit and Hospice Peterborough for their compassion, understanding and care for Patricia and family members when we needed it the most.
At the request of Patricia there will be no funeral service. If any of her family and many friends would like to donate to a charity on Patricia’s behalf we ask that you donate to Hospice Peterborough or the Arthritis Society of Canada.
