October 15th 1956 to October 3rd 2026
It is with profound sadness and broken hearts that we announce the passing of Paul Raymond Dutrisac, 69, of Omemee ON on October 3rd 2026.
Paul was a devoted husband, loving father, proud papa, brother, and friend. He was a hardworking man with a generous heart, someone who was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone who needed it. He never hesitated to give his time, offer help, or be there for those around him. That Kindness was simply part of who Paul was.
Paul will forever be loved and missed by his beloved wife Dianne, and his children, Ryan (Lynsey), Nicky (Doug), Krissy (Andrea). His greatest joy was his family, and he was especially proud of his six grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Alivia, Amaya, Carson, Avery and Hadley. The memories they shared with their papa (Papa Sac) will be treasured always.
A hardworking man throughout his life, Paul spent 35 years as a Correctional Officer. Starting his career at the Peterborough Jail, then to Millbrook and retired at Central East. Throughout his years, he established many long term friendships. Post retirement, Paul worked as a driver with a variety of business, from Paul Tinney Auto, JJ Pallet, Midnight Acres and Pascal Bus Company. He was not a man to just sit and relax, there was always something to do. He was a proud member of the Omemee Legion and enjoyed his time with the Sunday morning and Tuesday night hockey leagues.
Paul was the beloved son of the late Ronald and Dorothy Dutrisac and will be deeply missed by his siblings, Patrick Dutrisac, Joanne Larmer (Bruce), Doreen Edwards (Larry), and Louise Flaherty, along with his extended family and many friends.
For those who knew Paul, his absence will be felt in so many ways. It will be in the quiet moments, the familiar places, and the time when someone needs a helping hand and instinctively thinks, Paul would have been here and had the right tool. His family will miss his presence, his support, and the love he gave so freely.
Although our hearts are broken by his passing, we are grateful for every memory, every laugh, every helping hand, and every moment shared with him.
Forever loved, forever missed, always remembered.
A reception to celebrate Paul’s life will be held at Ashburnham Funeral on October 17, 2026 from 12pm - 2pm.
