Passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday January 11, 2017 in her 76th, year. Beloved wife of Brian William George Duffett. Devoted mother of Michael, Gary, Jonathan and Timothy. Proud grandmother of Jennifer (Joe), Jordan (Daneille) Carrigan, Mathew and Courtney. Great grandmother of Arleigh May, Brilin and another on the way. Loving sister to Steve Stretten (Hally). Predeceased by her parents Eric Stretten and Doris Reece (Nee Sadler) and her sister Leslie Holic (Tom). Pauline came to Canada in 1960 with her husband and first child; she was lovingly devoted to her family and friends. A member of the Peterborough Horticultural Society who truly loved sitting in her award winning perennial garden she so tenderly created. Pauline worked and fought hard for the equality of women as the Provincial Director of The Coalition of Ontario Sexual Assault Centers, supporting women in crisis. She will be dearly missed by many especially her family. Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.
