Cleary, Peter William; June 29, 1950 – June 19, 2012- It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father, grandpa, brother and friend. Pete will be forever loved and remembered by his wife and best friend, Judy (nee Lessard), his children, Shawna and husband Jason, Deanna and husband Kaz, and Michael, and by his greatest treasure, his grandkids, Max, Taylor and Lucas. Predeceased by his parents Leo and Hilda. Beloved brother of Mike (Cheryl), Al (Cathy), Maureen Shaw (Howie), Sharon Gifford (Dave), Grant, Don (Chris), Janice Hynes (Paul), Elaine Koning (Herb) and Pat (Monique). Dear brother-in-law of Corrine (Bob), Marlene Bowman (Earl), Bernie Lessard (Cathy) and Jackie. Loving son-in-law to Bernard and Mary Lessard, and an uncle to numerous nieces and nephews. Pete was the owner of Cleary Electric for 38 years and an active and respected member of the community. Pete’s real passion was the people in his life. He made friends easily and everywhere he went, and he treasured those friendships dearly. Pete was first and foremost a family man and dedicated most of his time to his wife, children and grandkids. Family game night will never be the same. We’ll love you always. Visitation will be held at the COMSTOCK FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 356 Rubidge Street on Friday, June 22, 2012 from 1:00 pm – 5:00 pm. A Memorial Mass will take place at the CATHEDRAL OF ST. PETER-IN-CHAINS, 411 Reid St., Peterborough on Saturday, June 23, 2012 at 10:30 am. If so desired, donations in memory of Peter may be made to the PRHC Foundation.
