Passed away peacefully at Peterborough Regional Health Centre on January 5, 2014 in his 97th year. Beloved husband of the late Mildred “Millie” (nee Bocock) for 67 years. Loving father of Ralph, Cheryl (husband Michael) Thomas and the late Marion Thompson. Proud grandfather of Chad, Adam and Jason (wife Christine). Survived by sister Effie McFaul and sister-in-law Barbara Bocock. Predeceased by his parents Walter and Mabel Thompson and step-father Albert Graham. Foster's life is celebrated for his service with the Canadian Military in World War II (as a Royal Canadian Electrical Mechanical Engineer (RCEME)) and 43 years with General Electric. Visitation will begin at 10:00 am followed by a funeral service at 11:00 am on Thursday, January 9, 2014 at COMSTOCK FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 356 Rubidge Street.
