BARKER, Ray – Ray, a writer, actor, dancer, wanderer, curmudgeon, Trent Radio host, lover of coffee shops and dark chocolate passed away gently at Riverview Manor home on Thursday, December 1, 2016 surrounded by friends. Ray was very involved in the Peterborough community. He loved literature and the arts immersing himself whenever possible. He was a member of Old men Dancing, a volunteer at Market Hall Theatre, Canadian Mental Health Association, P.A.C.E. and several other organizations. He was originally from the Hamilton area but had lived and worked in Toronto and then Peterborough. Ray was a free spirit driven by impulse and dreams. He always had a listening ear and a kind heart to give. He will be sorely missed. A celebration of Ray’s life will be held Sunday, January 15 from 2-5 at THE SPILL, 414 George Street N. Peterborough.
