Welbourne, Raymond "Grant' (Retired GE employee of 43 years): Peacefully after a short illness at PRHC on Tuesday June 30, 2015 in his 85th year. Beloved husband of the late Florence (Nee Curtis) for 62 years. Loving father of Karen (Bill Bendall), Bill (Ruth Guthrie), Barbara (Bob Card), Susanne (Roger Couture) and Ken (Tracey). Loving Grandpa to Brian Bendall (Natalie), Brenda (Ryan Seguire), Christopher Card, Bobbie-Jo Card (Chris Sunstrum), Katrina Card (Jerry Bresee), Jeffery Card, Roch and Luc Couture, Michael, Rachael, and Daniel Welbourne. Great-grandfather of Cassidy, Kennedy, Parker, Mackenzie, Mya, Jorja, Wesley and Tristen. Dear Brother of Bev (Doug Kennedy) and Bob (late Karen). Brother-in-law of Leona Martin, Alf Curtis (June) and the late Elsie Curtis, Walt Curtis (surviving wife Ollie), Pearl Herrod (Ernie) and Jean McCallum (Duncan). Grant will also be fondly remembered by family and friends. He was known as a quiet but industrious man with a deep love and appreciation for his heritage and family, The outdoors was the place Grant enjoyed most, where he could often be found soaking in the beauty of nature on long walks. A private interment of cremated remains was held at Rosemount Memorial Gardens and a Memorial reception will take place on Friday July 3rd, from 2-4pm at the ROYAL CANADIAN LEGION BRANCH 402, 9 King St E, Millbrook, Ontario.
