It is with great heartache that the family of Richard (Dick) Haviland announces his death with grace and dignity in his 73rd year, on Tuesday, August 1, 2006, after a courageous struggle with cancer, surrounded by his family. Beloved husband and best friend of Roxanne (Nee: Johnson). Loving and proud father of Dan (Diane), Debbie Thiele (Frank), and Cindy Downer (Leonard). Cherished Poppa of Daniele, Lisa, Brandie (Byron), Jeff (Trina), and Morgan (Jamie). Great Poppa of Greg and Angalee. Dear brother of Joyce Barrow and Uncle of Jill Ferenczi, Lorrie Waite, Mickey Sabatine, and Bobby Sabatine. Predeceased by parents Roy and Elsie Haviland. Dick will also be remembered by his many close friends and business associates. Cremation followed by interment at Rosemount Memorial Gardens. A Celebration of Dick?s Life will be held on Saturday, September 9, at 2 p.m. at his son?s home at 1099 Somerville Township, Fenelon Falls (705-887-4774).
