Peacefully, at PRHC on Saturday, August 7, 2010, in his 73rd year. Beloved husband of Frances (nee Bishop). Devoted stepfather of John and his wife Rose Nayler and Janet Jones. Dear stepgrandfather of Amy and her husband Myles Urban, Heather Jones and her husband Thien and Paul Jones. Loving stepgreatgrandfather of Chase and Alexa Urban and Lily Jones. Robert is survived by his siblings Joan and her husband Keith Wheeler, Bill, Ruby Driver and Ralph. He was predeceased by his parents Edgar and Nora and his siblings Roy, Marj, Hazel, Barb, John, Russell, Betty, Donald and Walter. Uncle Bobby will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews and their families. A special thank you to his dear friends Dan, Doug & Bev for your caring support. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm and Wednesday, August 11, 2010 beginning at 10 am followed by a funeral service at 11:00 am. at COMSTOCK FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 356 Rubidge Street.
