I was just made aware far too late to give proper respects. Bob was not only a mechanic and buisness owner, he was a friend.  Words cannot express my feelings, and my thoughts go out to Mike and siblings. Bob made a huge difference in my life, and is missed my many.  Lots of love, yours dave

Our thoughts and support to the family of Bob Roote always remembered with our hearts

Al and I just found out about Bob's sudden passing from Lesley Givens. He's racing to get out of here to make it to the funeral. We've lived in Burlington almost three years and Al still takes both cars to Rootes. I didn't know Bob as well as Al but got a big kick out his reaction to all of my husband's car purchases and subsequent sales (usually on Rootes lot). I taught two of his three children at Kenner (that's you Barry and Andrea) and drove by the family home on Monaghan a jillion times.
Very sad news for all his clients and especially his beloved family.

Mr. Roote was such a kindhearted man.  I looked forward to chatting with him whenever I brought my car in for service. I loved how honest and direct he was.  He was quick to put my mind at ease over any automotive concern I had, actual or imagined and always assured me I’d be safe for my daily commute.  He was a true gentleman with a heart of gold.

Terribly sorry for your loss. He will be missed. One of a kind.

Ian and I were very sorry to hear of Bob's passing.  He was in the office earlier this week and seemed a little out of sorts. Perhaps he knew it was time.  Bob worked long and hard and deserves his rest.  Our condolences to all the family.

To the Roote Family:  I was very sorry to hear the news of the sudden loss of your father. My mother (Kay Gravelle) has mentioned the kindness of your father many times. Mr. Roote took a special interest in my parents (Wilf and Kay Gravelle) and really looked after them and their car the last few years.  I had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Roote in December.
