Dear Bob,

I'm sorry I didn't get a chance to visit you and say goodbye before your passing. And yet, I'm happy for you in that you are in heaven, free of any form of suffering, reuniting with your most beloved Betty and other family members and friends who are all there with you now, and basking in eternal peace, well-being, and joy!

I remember your laughter--innocent and childlike chuckles as well as belly-aching and thunderous roars. I cherish every moment of chatting, singing, dining, travelling, and cracking up with you through making our naughty "could have, should have, but didn't" jokes. And I admire how easily you accepted whatever came into your life, especially hardship, through your always dignified manner and look. Last but not least, I appreciate the gentle kindness you've extended to me, always treating me like a part of your family.

May your songs, laughter, and spirit float and ripple everywhere in heaven forever!
