Ron was the beloved husband of Lynn Wood for 42 years and a deeply loved father to Terrell (Darryl Baldock) and Tony.
He was a proud papa to his grandchildren Brandon, Cassandra, and Grayden, and cherished every moment spent with his family.
He will be deeply missed by his brother Wally Wood and (Betty), niece Tanya (Dave), as well as many extended family members and friends whose lives he touched over the years.
Ron was predeceased by his parents, Mae and Percy Wood and his niece Tracy, who remains lovingly remembered by the family.
The family would like to extend heartfelt gratitude to the nurses, doctors, and staff of the palliative care unit for the compassion, gentleness, and care they showed Ron and his family during his final days.
Ron will be remembered for his love of golf, strength, stubbornness, humour, and the deep love he had for his family.
He will be missed beyond words.
As per Ron's request, there will be no visitation or service.
