Peacefully at Ross Memorial Hospital on April 13th, 2013 in her 89th year, amongst caring staff and loving family. Roxie is predeceased by her husband Wesley (1993) and infant son (1951), her parents Wesley and Isabelle (Handley), and all of her younger siblings Gordon (Jean), Neva (Smockum), George and Alvin. She was the cherished aunt of Darlene Callan (Bill) and precious Nanny to Andrew (Cassandra) and Ashleigh Callan. She is survived by many nieces and nephews. Roxie is resting at COMSTOCK FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, (356 Rubidge Street) for visitation on Tuesday, April 16th from 6-9 p.m. and 1-2 p.m. on Wednesday April 17th prior to the funeral service in the chapel at 2 p.m. Interment to take place following the service at Emily Cemetery.
