Sandra Vivian Wilson Patterson

It is with great sadness that the family of Sandra Patterson announce her passing on Monday, November 3, 2025, at the age of 85. Sandra passed away peacefully with family by her side at Peterborough Regional Health Centre (PRHC).

Sandra is predeceased by her parents, Earl and Vilda Wilson, and her brother, Raymond Wilson (Brenda). She is survived by her devoted husband of 67 years, Douglas Patterson; her sister, Debra Riel (Randy); and her children, Kelly Donaldson (Joe) and Scott Patterson (Karen).

Sandra was deeply loved and will be fondly remembered by her grandchildren — Laura, Kelsey, Haley, Cody, Brittney, and Hunter — her great-grandchildren — Ava, Finn, Paul, Sloane, Aubrey, Luci, and Lili — her nephews and niece — Rick, Ryan and Kendra — along with numerous other friends and family who held her close to their hearts.

Sandra dedicated 35 years of her career to managing the Quaker Oats Employee Credit Union, where she was well known and respected by many Quaker employees from the 1970s until her retirement in 2005.

Sandra will be remembered as a stylish, loving, and vibrant woman — full of kindness, energy, and warmth. She enjoyed many of life’s simple joys: walking along the beach collecting shells, going on adventures with her grandchildren, and spending cherished time with family and friends. Outgoing and generous, she was always willing to help others and made sure everyone in her “flock,” as she affectionately called them, was happy and cared for.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 8th, 2025 from 11AM-2PM at Bridgenorth Library, 836 Charles St., Bridgenorth, ON. In memory of Sandra, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would greatly be appreciated by the family.
