Sheila Lee Francis Wagner

February 23, 1942 - December 4, 2023

Peacefully on December 4, 2023 at North York General Hospital at the age of 81. Cherished mom of Amanda Wagner. Loving wife of the late Gottfried (Fred) and mom of the late Brian. Dear sister of Paul Francis. Predeceased by her parents Richard (Dick) and Emily (Ellie) Francis (née Hemphill). Loving aunt, cousin and friend to many.

Sheila was kind, generous and friendly, almost always had a smile on her face, and made friends everywhere she went. She made a difference in a lot of people's lives without wanting the spotlight for it, and took great joy in helping people however she was able to.

Sheila had a lot of interests and hobbies, most of which created connections that lasted throughout her life. She was always learning new skills and having fun while doing them. She swam, bowled, played darts (which she excelled at), loved cooking, sewing, cake decorating, and creating artwork, amongst other pastimes. Her constant optimism and wicked sense of humour and wit will be greatly missed by many.

A Memorial Reception to be held Saturday June 8, 2024 from 2-4 pm at Ashburnham Funeral Home, 840 Armour Road, Peterborough. In lieu of flowers, donations to Canadian Diabetes Association would be welcome and appreciated. Online condolences may be made at AshburnhamFuneral.ca
