Shirley’s family announces with sorrow her passing on March 12, 2026, at the age of 92. Beloved wife of the late Iain Burnett. Loving mother of Stuart Burnett and Margaret Hinch; proud grandmother of Erin and Nathan, and dear sister of Margaret, Pat, Colin, and the late Joyce, Ian, Cecily, and Doreen. Lovingly remembered by her friends and extended family.
In keeping with Shirley’s wishes, cremation has taken place and an informal celebration of her life will be held in the Mustang Room at Summit Terrace, 1802 Cherryhill Road, Peterborough, Ontario on Saturday 4th April, 2026 from 2pm to 4pm.
