Passed away peacefully at Peterborough Regional Health Centre on Wednesday, January 11, 2017 at 71 years of age. Predeceased by his parents Lloyd and Dorothy Lawson, his first wife Irene (nee-Murphy) and sister Heather Ellison. Beloved husband of Kathryn (nee-Roger). Proud dad to Gregory Lawson (Karen), and Amber Anderson (Travis) and much loved by step daughter Susan of Texas and step son Don of Ottawa. Cherished Poppa of Logan Anderson, Nathan Lawson, Luke and Kate. Fondly remembered by his siblings, Brenda Lancaster (Jim), Kenneth Lawson (Randi) and brother in law Dave Ellison. Stephen will be remembered for his love of hunting, boating and horses. Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 14, 2017 from 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. with a Celebration of his life to follow at 2:00 p.m. at COMSTOCK-KAYE LIFE CELEBRATION CENTRE, 356 Rubidge Street.
