Hay mom! I love you so much, and I miss you. I am a smart grown girl now! I am one of the top students in my class, I mean one of my classmates are like a year ahead but whatever. Sissy misses you so much, but has heeled a little, still hurting but better. I don't know how to put my feelings into words. I'm happy talking about you but about to cry when I found this. I love you, and do you hear all the conversations we say to you? Also! I know a girl named Rea, she's right beside me right now, she helped me find this! 

well. its not easy being so young without a loving mother. or father really. everytime im sad about missing her ill look in the mirror and it just gets worse because of how much i look like her. yes its a gift. but its also a torture. i get the biggest pain when i see myself. because its a reminder that ill never see the loving mother i once had ever again. mom i miss you. i miss you so so much. and its really hard to go into high school without you. and its really hard to wake up every morning knowing you're not waking up with me. i remember all the silly fights we'd have in morning because we were still tired. id do anything to be yelled at by you now. to be held in your warm and safe motherly arms. to be told that you loved me and tucked into bed with a hug and a kiss. man. i miss you. and its so hard to smile sometimes. because theres so much pain and it feels like a stab to the heart and i just want a hug from my mom and for you to tell me it was just a bad dream because my memory of you is starting to fade and every year without gets so much harder the next. its almost 5 years and my hearts just as broken as the day i found out mom. i put on such a strong act to make everyone so proud. but at the end of the day i burst into tears because its so hard to breath when you knoe that the person you care for the most already took their last breath. it feels like im not whole without you. like im not me. and i just wanna see you again. i wanna run into your arms and cry. mom you put such an hurt impact on my life and i shove you to the back of my head when i should smile and say she was awesome. but i cant. because you were so young. and so was i. i love you too much. and i miss you way too much. i just want my mom back.

Was just informed today of Tara's passing, my son is a friend of her daughter Janelle.  Jenn and Jesse and myself wish to express our deepest sympathies for her children and the rest of her family.  This was such sad news to hear of her passing.  Our prayers are with her and her family.

She was a beautiful girl when I met her. I was unbelievably proud by the way she kept close to Mkoons (Joe) and Nang (Rose Marie) her brother and sister from another mother and stepsister, Biidaaban, after the passing of their father in March 2011. She was always respectful whenever we made arrangements for visits or to attend birthday parties for the kids, or just to simply have them for a sleepover with a fire in the backyard. She will sincerely be missed. Her gorgeous big eyes and smile will be remembered always. It was an honour to help her get ready for high school before her return to PEI that summer, buying clothes and make-up! together is time one-on-one together that I enjoyed immensely. I know things were never easy for her then. She was growing into a truly beautiful woman and her passing has saddened us all deeply. My thoughts and prayers go out to Tara's family. I was a professor of hers while she attended college and I have many fond memories of conversations we had. She was a shining star and really loved her little girls. Kindest regards to her little ones and other family members.
