Peacefully at Peterborough Regional Health Centre on September 26, 2023 at the age of 65. Beloved wife of Brian for 47 years. Cherished mom of Ted (Rachel) and Carrie (Gary). Proud nana of Taiten, Tucker and Tessa. Dear sister of Milly (Jim d.), John (Jean) and the late Peggy and Cathy (Ian). Predeceased by her parents John Pickernell and Kathleen Jackson both born in Toronto. Will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews.
Theresa always put family first and loved spending time with them and her beloved pets, especially at Christmas. She also loved an adventure, whether it be riding the largest roller coaster or finding the best deals while shopping. Theresa was direct and up front, you always knew where she stood. Her great sense of humour always made you smile and many were had when nana turned into the Tickle Monster.
A Memorial Mass will be held on October 7, 2023 at 10am from St. Alphonsus Liguori Church, 1066 Western Avenue, Peterborough. Followed by a celebration and jam session at the Peterborough Curling Club, 2195 Lansdowne Street from 11am-4pm.
