Suddenly at his residence on the morning of Sunday, August 7, 2022. Beloved husband of Virginia. Loving and special father to Chris (Brenda Whetung), Greg (Josée), Gord (the late Michelle) and Todd (Leanne Harrison). Very caring and proud “poppa” to his seven granddaughters, Emma, Kayla, Amélie, Andrea, Izabella, Patricia and Sabrina. Predeceased by his parents Doris and Percy Ryall and his late wife Marlene (2005).
Cofounder of Ozanam Community Home, a facility for recovering alcoholics. Supportive member and sponsor at Alcoholics Anonymous for 41+ years. Retired from Canadian Tire after 50 years. Tom enjoyed travelling, fishing, Nascar and all sports.
Donations may be made to the Society of St. Vincent de Paul and Alcoholics Anonymous.
Visitation will be held at Comstock-Kaye Life Celebration Centre, 356 Rubidge Street, Peterborough on Thursday, August 11 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. A funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Alphonsus Liguori, 1066 Western Ave., Peterborough on Friday, August 12 at 10 a.m. Private family burial will be arranged at a later time in Astorville.
