I just learned of Tim's passing. Tim was a friend of my older brother, John, at Crestwood High School, and my father worked with Tim's father in the medical field.  Like Tim, John passed away before his time. Seeing these bright lights leave us too early is so sad—my heartfelt condolences to Tim's family.

Condolences to my Aunt Mary and my cousins Catherine, Heather and Natalie. Tim was an amazing man and I can only imagine the hole it has left in each of your heart and souls. Please know your Florida and Virginia family are sending thoughts and prayers your way.

For many years Tim  participated in a weekly men's Bible study.  The other members of the group were shocked by his sudden death, and will miss him very much.  Our condolences to  his family and loved ones at this trying time.

I met Tim in the summer of 1980 when we both worked at Ontario Place (that’s me in the glasses on his right).  Our group got along so well that we often spent our days off together. He was always smiling, always friendly, always had a twinkle in his eye. He will be greatly missed.

My condolences to Tim's family and friends. He was a very generous in loaning this awesome penny farthing (high wheel) replica bicycle for a pop-up history project we did at B!KE and the library in Peterborough. His dad used to ride it at events. Tim rode it too, and in doing so, seriously injured his leg, which you can read about in Kawartha Now https://kawarthanow.com/2018/11/29/the-bicycle-museum/

His 50th birthday out at the farm was a wonderful celebration. There are a few vivid childhood memories too from when Tim visited our home on Fairbairn Street.

In the 1970s my family visited the Buffalo Farm in Peterborough, Ontario to spend time with family. My mother Betty and Tim’s mother Mary are sisters. I’ll never forget the day my cousin Tim asked if I wanted to accompany him out to the range to feed the giant bison. We were in his very small pick up truck, and the sheer size of the bison compared to the little pick up truck astounded me. I asked him if we were safe because I knew that bison could not be tamed or domesticated. Bill said that they tolerated him coming into their territory because they knew he fed them. He warned me not to get out of the truck and I had no problem with that!  Just seeing their ginormous heads towering over the truck kept me frozen in my seat. The picture here shows a comparison as I can’t seem to find my photos from the 1970s.  Bill said they could knock over the truck if they were so inclined. Bill’s courage and bravery at age 15 was impressive. It gave a new meaning to “do your chores” to me a suburban youth. While I had to empty the dishwasher Bill had to face these big beasts everyday for feeding time! It was a once in a lifetime experience for me to be in the middle of a herd of giant bison.  Thank you Bill, you are missed.

Tim and I were class mates from grade 7 through high-school. He was always such a nice guy.  My oldest memory of Tim is when we had our Grade 8 graduation trip to Ferland, a Indian Village above lake Nipagon.  We took a 2 hr bus ride and then a 19hr train ride to get there.  It was an amazing time for all of us.  His family supplied us with Buffalo Burgers to take with us. That was the first time I had a Buffalo Burger.  Tim and I reconnected in 2016 through Rennie and then became fb friends. I was looking forward to seeing him again. Now I'll have to wait to see him in heaven. May God comfort his family and  friends with all the memories they have of Tim.

My deepest condolences to Tim's family.  Tim was a fellow classmate of mine at the Ryerson School of Journalism, Class of '83.  He was a fun guy and popular among his classmates. He was one of my mentors in economics, at which he was very good. He was also an avid player of the card game Hockey and, of course the game itself. The last time I saw Tim was when he joined me, Angela Bianchi and Mary-Lynn Trotter on the organizing committee for the 30-Year Reunion of the Class of '83.  He will be sorely missed. I went to school with Tim for many years and remember him fondly. I was shock to hear about his passing and we sending our condolences to his family.

So very sorry to hear of Tim’s passing he was a true gentleman as was his father who I worked in the operating room for many years. May he journey well to the other side to those who await him with open arms.

Dearest Tim.  I am so sorry to hear of your Passing.  I have been thinking about Tim alot recently.  My Sincerest Condolences to all of Tim's Family and Friends.   First Met Tim while I was working at Peterborough Vets and attended at the Farm.  Later years we reconnected and had some lovely chats and shared Meals.  Love and Prayers to all at this time.
