Wendy Louise Baird

BAIRD, Wendy (nee Genge):

Passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Monday November 18th, 2019 at Toronto Western Hospital; leaving us too soon at the age of 63. Wendy will be dearly missed by her loving husband of 43 years, Jim Baird. Devoted mother of Jim (Julie), Janis (Mike) Jackson. Cherished Nana to Parker, Ava, Isabelle, Kate, Natalie, Jimmy, and Matty. Dear sister to Don (Johanna) Genge, the late Larry Genge, Glenn (Sue) Genge, and Jim (Sharon) Genge. Predeceased by her parents Roy and Constance Genge. Wendy will be fondly remembered by many family members and friends. She was a talented and creative seamstress with a strong passion for sewing in both her career and for her family. A visitation will be held at ASHBURNHAM FUNERAL HOME (840 Armour Road, Peterborough) on Tuesday November 26th, 2019 from 5:00 – 8:00 PM. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at WESTDALE UNITED CHURCH (1509 Sherbrooke Street, Peterborough) on Wednesday November 27th, 2019 at 1:30 PM. If desired, in memory of Wendy donations may be made to the PRHC- Neonatal Intensive Care Unit through the funeral home or online.
