Jim Downard was the beloved husband of Carol for 36 years. Dear father of Dayle (Michelle) of Toronto, Terri (husband Andrew Burlatschenko) of Keswick, and Scott (wife Sharri) of Toronto. Loving grandfather of Luke & Tyler, and Cody, Mandy, Jamie-Lee & Karlee. Dear brother of Marge, Bob, Leonard, Ken, Sue, Skipper and the late June. Jim will also be remembered by his many nieces and nephews, relatives and friends. A memorial service will be held at Comstock Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 356 Rubidge St., Peterborough, ON, on Sunday January 2nd, 2011 at 1 pm. Visiting will be held in the chapel one hour prior to the service. Donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated.
