He was born in Vernon, Texas on July 24, 1951. Allen graduated from Hobbs High School.
Allen worked as independent insurance agent for himself and MetLife. He had a passion for golf and family.
He is survived by his wife Carolyn, daughter Angie, mother Faye, sister Debbie, brother Clif, step-sons Jimmy, Jody and Jeffery, grandchildren Kenneth, Erin, Cheyenne, sierra, Cameron, Cole, Jeremy, Kody, Ashey, Seleste and Shelby and one great-grandson Shaun.
Memorial service will be held at 5:00 p.m., Saturday, November 5, 2016 at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home Chapel.
In lieu of flowers the family has requested the donations be made in Allen’s honor to the American Cancer Society, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or the charity of your choice.
