Tribute to My Mother (Love Your Daughter Mary)
When someone you love becomes a memory, that memory becomes a treasure MOM.
Mother loved Christmas and to decorate. She would decorate the tree every year with angel hair. The light would shine through so beautiful. What I never told her is that darn angel hair made me itch so bad like the dickens.
Mother also loved to shop!!! One day, it was very cold weather and a long line at the department store to get inside, Mother could not miss any Sale, so she threw up her hands and faked a fainting spell to get inside. The department store folks quickly rushed to her aid and ushered her inside, to everyone’s surprise Mother was healed. Amen!!! And the shopping was on.
After lovingly taking care of you from a stroke you suffered, I also became down in my back, so the two of us walked around like twins on canes. Mother like Daughter.
God in his infinite wisdom chose to take you home to be with Him. Thank you, Dear Mother, for all the love you showed me, although you left this Earth and now you’ve taken flight, I know that you are here with me each morning, noon, and night.
Your Loving Daughter,
Mary
