Beatriz Cavazos Ruiz

February 23rd, 1952 - May 21st, 2023

With profound sadness, we announce the passing of our beloved Beatriz Cavazos-Ruiz on Sunday, May 21st, 2023 at the age of 71. She lived a life filled with love, kindness, and devotion to her family, and her memory will forever remain in our hearts. As we say final farewells to our beautiful Beatriz, let us find comfort in knowing that she is now united in the arms of eternity with her parents, Ignacio and Anselma (Fabian) Cavazos, her beloved husband, Pedro "Pete" Ruiz, her cherished son, David, and her other brothers and sisters.

Born on February 23rd, 1952,  Beatriz Cavazos-Ruiz was a cherished daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She was a pillar of strength and a source of unconditional love for all who knew her. Her loss leaves a void that can never be filled, but her legacy of love and faith will endure.

A dedicated mother, Beatriz poured her heart and soul into raising her children with love and care. She leaves behind 7 children: Rudy Cavazos, Felipe Santo Villa, Maria Corbeil, Manuel Cavazos, Rosie Marie Ruiz, Juanita Ruiz, and John Angel Cavazos. She cherished every moment spent with them, guiding them with wisdom and instilling the values of family, faith, and compassion in them.

One of the greatest joys in Beatriz's life was her role as a grandmother. She adored her 27 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren and found immense happiness in their presence. They brought light and laughter to her life, and she treasured each and every one of them dearly.

May Beatriz's soul find eternal peace and rest in the loving embrace of God. Let us remember her life with gratitude and celebrate the beautiful memories she leaves behind. She will forever hold a special place in our hearts and will be deeply missed by all who were fortunate enough to know her.

A visitation for Beatriz will be held Thursday, June 1, 2023 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home, 14501 North Interstate 35, Pflugerville, Texas 78660. A rosary service will occur Thursday, June 1, 2023 at 7:00 p.m., 14501 North Interstate 35, Pflugerville, Texas 78660. A funeral service will occur Friday, June 2, 2023 at 11:00 a.m., at San Francisco Javier Catholic Church, 10068 Burklund Farms Road, Austin, Texas 78719. A committal service will occur Friday, June 2, 2023 at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Cemetery, 14501 North Interstate 35, Pflugerville, Texas 78660.
