Mike and Misty, I am so sorry to hear of Cathy's passing. I was not aware until just now when I read a Facebook post from Kim. I lived across the street from Cathy when I was a kid until she married and moved away. She was a big sister to me and we had many wonderful times together. I was around when Mike was born and we continued our friendship for many years until our lives went in separate directions. She was a wonderful person and truly enjoyed life. It is most difficult during the holidays but take comfort in knowing she is still with you. Listen with your heart and she will never be far away.

I'm so thankful for being able to become so close to such a wonderful person. She was my one and only Mamaw and will always have a special place in my heart. Although she isn't here with us physically, I know she will be with us in spirit and watching over us. There won't be a day that she won't cross my mind. I am heartbroken to have lost such an amazing and beautiful grandmother. I know she is now at peace with her loved ones she has missed for so long. Gone but NEVER forgotten. I love you Mamaw.

I've known your mom since high school and we had many good times and laughs together.  She always had the biggest smile and a twinkle of mischief in her eyes.  It lasted way to short.  Cathy and I lost contact with each other over the years, but so glad we were able to connect over Facebook the last few years.  I'm so sorry for your lose. Take comfort in knowing that now you have a special guardian angel to watch over you.

 Cathy and I have been friends since grade school,we have a lot of good memories and I was so happy to be able to talk with her on facebook. She loved and cherish her beautiful family. May the the many memories each of you have of her and the love you all have for each other carry you through this difficult time. I will truly miss my dear friend.

Cathy was a wonderful mother, cousin and friend. Although she ran into many physical and emotional speed bumps in her life, she never complained and always had a smile and a good word for everyone. She will be dearly missed by all.

Catherine was a dear friend and lovely person.  I always enjoyed seeing her and cherished our conversations.  She dearly loved her cat, Booger, and he loved her.  I will miss her terribly but when I hear windchimes singing their songs, I'll think of Catherine and know it is her.
