Danita Joyce Futch

January 17, 1946 - March 12, 2026

Our beloved sister, Danita Joyce Futch, 80, passed away on March 12, 2026. She was a sister in every sense of the word. A lifelong friend to her Conroe High School alumni, Sam Houston State sorority sisters, to her beloved brothers, Lenon and Pierce, to her fellow Delta Airlines flight attendants, and Cedar Park Chamber of Commerce business women. Danita was ever faithful to all these sisters and in return they filled her life with so much joy and love.

The family gives its deepest heartfelt thanks to her closest faithful angels and caregivers: Linda, Kevin, Cindi, Rachel, Marilyn and Betty. We are also forever grateful to Carter for his selfless donation that blessed Danita with two additional decades of loving life.

On this day, Danita is in Heaven, joining her doting parents Jerry and Bonnie, beloved brother Eric Pierce, the love of her life Gerald and so many cherished friends that she has deeply missed. She is survived by her brother Lenon (Carole), nephew Jerry (Adrienne), nieces, Lisa and Jennifer (Billy). Danita is also remembered by her close cousins Jimmy, Kenny (Jan) and Teresa (David).

There will be a visitation at Cook Walden Capital Parks Funeral Home, 14501 N. IH 35, Pflugerville TX from 5pm to 7pm, on Monday March 16, 2026.

Funeral services will be held there at 1pm on Tuesday March 17, 2026, in the Longhorn Chapel.

Immediately following interment in the Capital Parks Cemetery, a reception of family and friends will be held at the Chapel.
