2015 has begun & I find myself trying to figure out how to face it without you. I take it day by day tho, yesterday was too painful to say it, but Happy Birthday, I thought about you all day long. On a good note, Cowboys won!! Woot! I know you are cheering in heaven right now. Miss you dad.

So sad to hear of losing cousin Don. The entire family is in my prayers.

Donna and the entire family, I send my deepest sympathy for your loss.  Since I was a part time visitor to Austin, I was lucky enough to be connected to Don as a friend of Bill W.  When I was in town, during the years from 2002 to 2010, I regularly picked Don up for meetings.  My memories are not only of his comments at meetings but also of our "drive time" together.  He was a big inspiration for me.  He helped me learn a lot about life on life's terms.  I repeat the other comments about Don never complaining about what life handed him.  He will be in my memories forever.

Don Sheffield was my close friend for nearly 30 years. He will always be in my heart. He was a gentle giant who always saw the humor in life and I never heard him complain. Don is missed greatly.
