His sister-in-law, Kathy Abegglen; brother-in-law, Jason Burnett, and his many nieces, and nephews. Finally, he is also survived by his best buddy and pal, his sweet dog Gunner. He is preceded in death by his Father, Robert Lewis Abegglen, and his brothers, Erik Clark Abegglen, and Brett Wayne Abegglen.
Drew worked as an allocation and procurement specialist for the video game company, Wargaming. Drew had an amazing sense of humor, he loved to make jokes and be inappropriate every chance he got; it was his thing. Recently at our brother Brett’s funeral, he cut through the pain of the moment and broke tension in the room and talked about how he used to spend his days touching “balls” with the back of his hand for the TSA. He had the room rolling in laughter.
His biggest passion was guns. He loved building them, shooting them, reading about them, and educating others about them. It was a passion he shared with our late father. He also reloaded his own bullets which our father taught him to do. He loved to travel with his friends. He loved Gunner, his best buddy, with all his heart. Anyone who knew Drew has either met Gunner or seen a video of him and Drew and their shenanigans. Gunner is safe with Drew’s mother Melody and we will all take good care of him.
Drew will be missed immensely by his family and many friends.
In lieu of flowers, we are asking for donations towards his headstone marker for his grave. We are so very grateful to everyone for their support and kind words during this time.
