He served in the Army for two years and then began a long career in the construction business as a framing contractor.
Edmund is survived by his wife, Pat Isaac; his children, Wayne (Rhonda) Siegmund, Lisa (Keith) Wilcox, and James (Tiffany) Siegmund; his stepchildren, Lisa (Tommy) Foster and Erik Isaac; his grandchildren, Colton Siegmund, Christoph Siegmund, Nikolas Siegmund, Joshua Siegmund, Shyanne Foster and Dustyn Shelton and Tinay White; his great grandchild, Arthur Siegmund. He is also survived by his sisters Edna (Kirk) Kiesling, Lilly (Walter) Kipp, and Ruth Whitehead, and many nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents Arthur and Frieda Siegmund and granddaughter Kayla Siegmund.
The family would like to thank all the nurses and doctors at the Temple VA Hospice for the caring and excellent care he received there.
A Funeral Service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, February 15, 2020 at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home, 14501 North Interstate 35, Pflugerville, Texas 78660. Brother Tom Williams will be officiating. Interment will follow at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Cemetery where military honors will be afforded. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 11:00 a.m. at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home.
