Ella Francis Wimberley

Ella Francis Wimberley, age 88, passed away September 22, 2019. Ella was born March 28, 1931 in Rusk, Texas to Joseph A. and Elizabeth (Arnett) Dearing. She was a very active person and loved being outdoors. Ella spent many hours tending to her garden and taking care of her beloved animals. She was quite the fisherwoman and could hold her own in hunting, too! Ella worked as a supervisor in printing and graphics for 30+ years. One of her favorite things to do in her later life was taking daily walks with her friends.

Ella was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 53 years, John Wimberley and her brother, Joseph A. Dearing. Those left to cherish her memory include her son, Johnny J. Wimberley; grandsons, John Lawson Wimberley and his girlfriend, Sandra A. Cobos and David M. Mitchell; great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews and extended family.

Visitation will be held Sunday, September 29, 2019 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home. Funeral Services will begin at 10:00 a.m. Monday, September 30, 2019 in the Memorial Chapel of Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home with burial following in Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Cemetery.
