Elvira M. Adams

Mom passed away on the 20th September, at the age of 90 (2 months shy of 91). That she achieved such a great age is remarkable.

You may remember that it was more than 20 years ago she moved from her hometown San Antonio to Austin, to re-gather the family as family circumstances became more pressing. As time went on, she and dad moved to Ingleside with my sister Norma and Jen. The exceptional care she received there, kept her happy and busy with outings supporting football matches, seaside parties and family celebrations, which she always looked forward to. Mom took joy in the company of her grandchildren and especially her great-great grandchildren. Up until the final few days Mom’s mental facilities endured allowing us to enjoy precious times with Mom and a glimpse of Vera in her prime.

Mom was never happier than when she was able to remember her younger and happy days. We would all like to Thank You for being a treasured part of her life.

We will be holding a celebration of Mom’s life 11:00 a.m., Saturday, October 14, 2023 at the Mausoleum Chapel in Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Cemetery, 14501 North Interstate 35 Pflugerville, Texas.
