Eula was a faithful servant of God as she served as an usher and taught Sunday School at St. Paul Methodist Church as well as Macedonia Baptist Church. She previously served in the Order of the Eastern Stars. Eula was a longtime fixture in Georgetown. She was a longtime professional housekeeper and touched the lives of many families in the community. She was known to serve a good home cooked meal and baked a “mean” apple pie. For all that knew her knew she was a very out spoken person and you never had to wonder what was on her mind.
Eula will be greatly missed by all that she left to cherish her memories including her son Douglas and daughter Carolyn; grandchildren Debra, Dorothy, Tyrone, Letha, Dion, Heather, Lawrence and Charles; great-grandchildren Deona, Morgan, Desiree and Precious; as well as a niece and many nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters Velma and Josephine, brother Harry and grandson Damon.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, June 23, 2015 at the Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home Chapel.
