Fred L. Bradley

Fred Bradley, age 76, passed peacefully at home on May 12, 2014 in Austin Texas after an extended illness. Fred was born on July, 7, 1937, and grew up in Round Rock Texas where he attended school and excelled as an all-around athlete. After graduating from the University of Texas in 1960, Fred earned his CPA license and began a career in accounting. Fred dedicated the majority of his career working in the mental health field and retiring from the Texas Council of Community Centers in Austin, TX. Upon his retirement, Fred loved tending to his livestock and plowing the fields at his small farm near Taylor, Tx.

Fred was preceded in death by his mother Katherine Ischy Bradley, father Eugene Bradley and brother Bob Bradley. He is survived by his wife of 24 years, Marlene, two step children, Stacy Tusia and Ryan Robinson, two step-granddaughters Erica Flanagan and Emily Bailey, sister Mary Katherine Perry and husband Jim and sister-in-law Jeri Bradley, along with several nieces and nephews.

Services for Fred will be held at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home at 14501 North IH-35, Pflugerville, Texas. Visitation will be on Thursday, May 15 at 10:00 AM followed by a graveside service at 11:30 AM
