Glenn was born on March 22, 1933 in Harlingen, Texas to Otho Luther and Lula Emma (James) Jeffrey. He attended James Bowie Elementary and Harlingen High School and Pasadena City College. He entered the United States Army on May 21, 1953, and was honorably discharged on May 4, 1955. Glenn worked as a printer and was a member of the Graphic Communication Conference of the International Brotherhood of Teamsters.
Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife, Mary E. (Mize) Jeffrey of Round Rock, Texas; daughters, Martha Lynne Joyner and husband Tim of Hutto, Texas and Rebecca Jeffrey of Vancouver, Washington; and son, Brian Gable Jeffrey and wife Judy of Austin.
Family and friends are invited to a visitation from 5:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 9, 2014, with services following at 6:00 p.m. at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home in Pflugerville.
