I just learned of Greg's passing right now and I am shocked, saddened and shaken.  I have known and loved him for years and always knew he would be around to visit.  I am so glad that he was able to be with our family in August.  Thoughts and prayers for his family from the Pearcy girls.

Sorry Eddie, David; just tried looking up your Dad to get in touch while we were back in Austin, Texas, and say this memorial site. Really enjoyed all my time with your Dad and all his excitement to every game..In any of my hard times, I could look to Greg to offer some insight or support. I'll miss him greatly. I just learned of Gregs passing today. I knew Greg for 44 years and never met anybody as awesome as him. I have so many fond memories of our friendship and will miss his kind gentle soul.

I did not know your loved one, nor do I know any of you, but I am so sorry for your loss and I wish I had known him, for it sounds like he would have been such fun and so interesting.  My sympathies to all of you who are mourning his passing.  Keep his special light burning always.

Greg will be dearly missed.  I spent many an evening visiting with Greg and I always learned something.  Always had a great respect for his knowledge and intellect, he was a great man and in my memories will always be.  God speed

Sad to know that he has passed but I know he had a good life and a loving family.

You were a great friend and always willing to help out and give me any advice you had.  I enjoyed every conversation we had even when it took 2 hours to answer what could have been a 5 minute conversation.  I enjoyed every conversation that we had and I wish had more time to converse.  I hope to see you again.  I will take the lessons that you have taught me and pass them on to every one I meet in the future.

The Pioneer Farms volunteer family are saddened and feel a great loss without our Greg.  He meant so much to so many of us.  He was truly a man's man, a great man.  He had many admirers.  We are grateful to have known him.

Greg will be greatly missed by all of his friends from First Friday. I'm sure that we will be singing some songs in his honor.  Thanks for mentioning our special music gathering and for all of the interesting information about Greg's background.

Greg was a dear person and always had a story to tell.  A friend that will be missed.

Greg was one of the last of the great old time lawyers. . .a combination advocate, advisor and friend to all and he always had time for anyone who needed him.  I had the great fortune of working on cases with him and came to admire his upbeat view of life no matter what the obstacles.  I will miss you Greg.  You will always be one of my most treasured friends.

Greg was a great friend and a caring soul from the first day I met him.  In the decade that our offices were down the hall from each other (and in the years since), I was educated and entertained by Greg's stories, humor, wisdom, and his presence as our resident 'tribal elder.' I have so many fond memories of Greg.  He helped me through several events in which I needed advice. Not only was he a talented attorney, but the  lessons and stories that followed as a result of him helping you. His retainers fee was a good deal. ..lol
It was plain to see the love he had for his sons,  he was such a proud dad. You know just last Friday, I had gotten some papers that I needed advice on.  Only the good Lord knows. Thank you Greg for the wonderful memories,  lessons and stories. Your memory will forever live on in our hearts.

Girl Scout Troop 2152 had the great pleasure of Greg's wonderful mentoring. The girls will never forget our gallant vacquero who serenaded us with his beautiful guitar, fed us with his awesome campfire cooking and shared his love of horses with us. What a once in a lifetime experience we were given. I will never forget it. Vaya con Dios, Cantador y gracias por to do. Whenever we sit around a campfire, we will remember you.

Greg was a great man who I have had the pleasure of knowing since High School Days at Central. He was a fighter for life and despite all his physical challenges, always was upbeat, had a good joke and focused on the positive. He will be sorely missed.He represents a great model for us to follow.

Greg started out as my lawyer, and then ended up being a very close friend for the last decade or so.  We could talk horses for hours and he always had some wisdom to impart about a training method or piece of tack.  His friendship and kindness helped get me through many a hard time. He will be so missed by so many.  My prays go out to his family.

We are truly saddened to hear of Greg's passing. Our hearts ache for his Sons. We have many fond memories of being neighbors to such a wonderful family! Our prayers and condolences to you all.

Greg and I have been friends for almost 30 years.  We were there for each other in the good times and the bad.  He was a true friend.  I spoke to him last week, and he was so full of life.  I still can't wrap my head around the fact that I can't pick up the phone and speak to him.  He was a truly good, giving man.  The world because a little darker the day he died.  Rest in peace my friend.  You've touched so many lives in such a positive way.

One of my oldest friends is gone and will be missed. All of our love goes out to his friends and family left behind to celebrate his life and mourn his passing.

I and the entire Troilo family are deeply saddened to hear of Greg's passing.  Our heartfelt condolences and prayers go out to the Valdespino family.  Greg was a great conversationalist; a man of many interests, including: the law, music, horses, art, crafts, collecting, and was always able to encourage others with stories, friendship and a well-played composition on the guitar.  Greg loved his sons & family.  
He was (also) like an adopted brother to many and was always willing to help others.  I miss Greg.  His passing is a great loss to all who knew him.  I believe Greg is with the Lord now and no longer has the health problems he dealt with in his later years and that he is now able to move about with all the ease and agility he had when he was a star football player at Central Catholic High School. 
Greg was friend and mentor to many, including myself, and, words cannot express the great sense of loss I will carry with me for a long time.  I miss you Greg. God's speed.

We are so saddened by Greg's passing. He was a wonderful friend, a skilled attorney, an expert horseman, an enthusiastic historical re-enactor and a cheerful presence that always warmed a room. He will be greatly missed.
