He attended Stephen F. Austin High School and graduated in 1971. He worked for Southwestern Bell retired of 29 years, and was currently employed with Time Warner Cable.
Preceding him in death are his father, mother, sister and brother.
Left to cherish his memories are his wife Brenda; two children Brandy and Michael; two grandchildren Bren'Yett and Nagotti Holley; brother Ruben Johnson and wife Merilyss; sister Doris; a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and other relatives and friends.
