Jane W. Osborne

Born April 2, 1946 in Sumter, South Carolina, she was the daughter of the late Robert A. and Leitha Mae Wilkerson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Robert (Bobby) Wilkerson of Gun Barrel City, Texas, and Michael Wilkerson of Sumter, South Carolina; two sisters, Mary Louise Floyd of Lake City, South Carolina and Joan Henderson of Sumter, South Carolina.

She worked in the textile manufacturing industry and home healthcare attending to elderly patients in their homes which she loved the most out of all of her jobs. She had a solid work ethic having worked 57 years in South Carolina and Texas. Her favorite place where she lived for several years was Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. She had a love for the sun. One of Jane’s greatest loves was her pets, especially her last dog, Toby.

She is survived by her son, COL (ret) Charlie C. Osborne, Jr. (Lisa) of Pflugerville, Texas; two grandchildren, Jonathan A. Osborne (Erica) of Elgin, Texas, and Samantha E. Gibich (Daniel) of Stephenville, Texas, and numerous nieces and nephews. Special thanks to Kevin & Ashley Conway of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina; Fran (niece) & Tracy Inman of Sumter, South Carolina; Shirley Osborne (Sister-In-Law) of Sumter, South Carolina; Kim Osborne (niece) of Murrells Inlet, South Carolina; and Lori (niece) & David Nobles of Hillsborough, North Carolina. The entire staff at Spanish Oaks Assisted Living and the New Life Baptist Church are both located in Pflugerville, Texas.

Celebration of Life service will be at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, August 17, 2024 at New Life Baptist Church, 19715 Hodde Lane, Pflugerville, Texas 78660 with Pastor Marc Hegedus.
