Jay passed on Tuesday January 8, 2019. He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Nobles Johnson.

The viewing will be at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks, Pflugerville, Texas on Monday, January 14th from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. A home going celebration will be held on Tuesday, January 15th at 11:00 a.m. at the Greater Union Baptist Church with Pastor Rickey Williams.
